Clean water
Hand pumps and wells built with the villages that use them.
The challenge
What families face
In rural Pakistan, millions live without clean water. Women and children walk for hours each day, on unsafe routes, to carry home a few litres that are often unfit to drink.
Thirst is only the start. Fetching water takes the time that should go to school and work, and it keeps families inside the cycle of poverty.
Our approach
How we work on it, together
Our hand pump project is simple and built to last. We install wells and, at the same time, train the people who will use them: residents mould eco-bricks, build the raised platforms and learn to maintain the pump themselves.
That work creates jobs, leaves practical skills behind and keeps the money in the local economy.
What your gift does
Where your money goes
Your gift pays for more than a pump. It funds the training, the materials and the local labour that let a village run its own water supply for years.
