The challenge
What families face
For many orphaned children, school is a dream out of reach. With no parent to support them they miss school, go without uniforms or stationery, and grow up without the tools to break the cycle of poverty.
Left unsupported, they face a higher risk of exploitation, illiteracy and emotional hardship.
Our approach
How we work on it, together
Our Orphan and Vulnerable Education grant makes sure a sponsored child can attend school and thrive there. We work closely with schools, caregivers and communities so that every sponsored child has the footing to succeed, academically, socially and emotionally.
Each sponsored child receives:
- Full school fees
- School uniform and shoes
- Stationery and learning materials
- Emotional support through a caring network
What your gift does

R12,000 sponsors a child’s whole school year, including food, accommodation, medical care and other essentials. Your sponsorship provides:
- A stable place to learn
- Academic support and resources
- A sense of belonging and safety
